Before we learn what, God says, we must learn what He doesn’t. God is not silent, but He is not anxious, condemning, rushed, or confusing. If a “voice” brings fear, shame, pressure, or chaos, it’s not His. John 10:27 says His sheep know His voice. Clarity starts with knowing the counterfeits. God will not contradict Scripture, force you, or speak in panic.
Scripture: John 10:27, 1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not a God of confusion”, James 1:5
Action: Write down 3 “words” you’ve been afraid were from God. Test each one: Does it bring peace or pressure? Does it line up with Scripture? Is it patient or rushed?
Reflections:
What voice have I been mistaking for God’s voice?
Where have I felt condemned instead of convicted lately?
What would change if I stopped chasing every thought and waited for peace?
