Unclear leadership is the most expensive leadership. It costs time in repetition, trust in shifting direction, talent when A-players leave, culture when politics fills the vacuum, and you in decision fatigue. Clarity is when people know the win, their role in it, and what “done” looks like. Fog is everyone guesses. Teams don’t fail from lack of work. They fail from lack of clear direction.
Reflection: 1. What 1 area of my leadership feels foggiest today?
- What is that fog costing my team this month?
- If my team had 100% clarity on one thing, what result would change?
